The Technology
LiDAR. Point Cloud. Precision.
RDG uses ultra-fast LiDAR sensors that scan up to 100 meters per position, capturing millions of data points as a photo-realistic 3D point cloud. Each scan takes minutes. The resulting model is accurate to within a few millimeters — far beyond what traditional tape measure or laser-distance methods can deliver.
The Matterport platform layers a navigable, photo-quality walkthrough on top of the point cloud, making it accessible to anyone with a browser — no software required. The same scan data also exports as a structured point cloud for use in Revit, AutoCAD, or any BIM workflow.
